The Standards
The International Ethics Standards (IES) Coalition first met at the United Nations in 2014. The Standards align the ethics principles set out in many codes of conduct published by Coalition organisations.
The original IES was published in 2016 and the new standard, adopted in 2021, has been written by a group of independent industry leaders and international ethics and compliance experts appointed by Trustees of the IES Coalition. Included in the group are prominent real estate representatives from various countries from around the world. It’s available to freely download below in a growing number of language versions. For interpretation or in case of clarification, please always refer to the English language version.
